by THUGLI consists of Tom Wrecks and Pat Drastik, two DJ/Producers spearheading the trap movement by way of Toronto. Drastik, a former national Redbull Thre3style and DMC champion and Tom Wrecks, known for his popular remixes and Juno nominated production, formed THUGLI in the summer of 2012. The duo’s sound is best described as a hybrid of dirty south rap combined with a love of melodic builds and heavy synths. This unique and distinct take on the trap sound has made the two stand out in what is rapidly becoming a multi faceted genre. Their music has quickly gained the support of Industry heavyweights including Diplo, A-trak, Baauer ,Flosstradamus, Just Blaze, AraabMuzik and is receiving play from Diplo himself on his BBC Radio 1 show and in his sets. After having remixed for labels such as Maybach Music and Top Billin, releasing numerous popular bootlegs, and an EP in 2013, this duo show no signs of slowing down.
