Wednesday, December 11, 2013 – Last night at the 13th annual Toronto Night Club Awards, Digital Dreams Music Festival was voted 2013 Party of the Year, beating out five other nominees including Veld Music Festival, Beach Club Festival and several others. The Toronto Night Club Award categories are nominated by industry professionals who along with the general public vote for the winners. In just it’s second year, Digital Dreams more than doubled in size, entertaining over 50,000 fans, making it the largest and most popular electronic music festival in Canadian history.
“To have a festival nominated for this award in only it’s second year is truly amazing. To be recognized in this way by both the industry and the public, is overwhelming,” says Ryan Kruger, Managing Director of Electronic Nation Canada. “We worked tirelessly last year to make improvements and provide an experience to our fans that they would never forget. Digital Dreams 2014 is set to take place at The Flats @ Molson Canadian Amphitheatre (Ontario Place) on Canada Day Weekend, June 28th & 29th, 2014. After a SOLD OUT presale of 20,000 tickets, Digital Dreams 2014 is poised for it’s biggest and best year yet. This year the festival will offer an expanded footprint to accommodate over 70,000 people, more artists on more stages and a new site configuration that will enhance the experience for festival goers.
